What Is Laryngeal Cancer?
Laryngeal cancer develops in the tissues of the larynx, the voice box that sits between the throat and the windpipe. Most cases begin in the thin lining cells, and early signs such as hoarseness lasting more than a few weeks, a persistent cough, or a lump in the neck should always be checked early.
